Durga Saptsatti is a very famous granth. Durga Saptsatti is all capable of providing so many sidhis. Normally Durga Maa can be prayed everyday, but Astmi, Chatur-Dashi and Navmi are the best. On these days if you read the 1, 2, 9, or 10th chapter, will attain freedom from all sins, one will flourish and will get rid of all pains.

During Navratras, one also can keep the “patth’ of Durga Saptsatti, as the granth covers all the nine avtars of the Goddess Durga,.

Precautions of praying Goddess Durga

• Before starting Durga Saptsatti, if Durga Kavach is read, will have protection from all evils.

• In a home, one shall not pray morethan 3 goddess

• During the Durga Saptsatti one shall not play flute or ‘Sehnai’

• If the Sadhak wears a garland of Moonga, will be beneficial

• If you maintain complete fast & take only milk after the ‘paatth’, Maa Durga will be very happy.

In end shall read Sidh Kunjika Stotra, without it you may not get the full benefit of the Durga Sapsatti Pooja
